VIDEO REVIEW BELOW...

OVERVIEW: As with my other Rabbit Machines the Rabbit Air Biogs 2.0 air purifier Is a model whose design I like. I'll cover pros, cons, and the few issues I have with it below.

Have you ever purchased a car and payed more than a regular car because of how it looked. That's how I feel about the Rabbit Air Biogs 2.0 air purifier. It does a good job, and I love the design, but it might not be the best use of my money. More on that later.

This model is good for particle removal (dust and pollen) but won't help much with germs, odors, viruses, gases (pollution) or bacteria. They skipped the immune system threat technology in favor of HEPA-based tech particles like pollen or dust. Leaving out ultraviolet, electrostatic, and other germ/virus technology also keeps their costs down, profits up.

Pros & Cons

Pros

1 - Great sleek design

2 - Solid construction

3 - 4 Technologies

4 - Quiet on Low Speed (but the quiet speed is not very effective).

5 - Energy Efficient Fan Motor

Cons

1 - EXPENSIVE HEPA Filter replacement

2 - Small area coverage for the price (275-500 sq. ft.)

3 - Does not kill viruses, bacteria or mold/mildew. The odor ability is less than desired, although the electrostatic probably covers odor.

4 - Expensive Carbon Filters.

Conclusion

As mentioned I like the Rabbit Air Line of purifiers in design and function, except for the price/value.To buy a $53 HEPA filter every 4-6 months and also a $33 Carbon Filter every 4-6 months can add up pretty fast. But that is true of many air purifier companies, overcharging for the filters. (In China they cost about $10 to make to give you an idea).

The Rabbit Biogs 2.0 air purifier replacement filters are costly, so you may be sacrificing style (great design) for value and performance. The initial price is also a bit high for the performance and specs, but it's one of the better models on the market for dust and pollen.
